I want to tell you something
illuminating about me.

it's not cold or sweaty, there are fine
small hairs on its back, blue tunnels
underneath the skin, and in the cove

between thumb and forefinger
a grid of lines that maps the
electricity of my body. I'm charged,
guy in a blue shirt, with a mission

all my own to tell you this thing
I mentioned before--doesn't it
make you smile when a stranger
talks to you, and don't you feel open

now, as never since the first time
someone said your name gladly, guy

were coining the only money he wanted

intentions rising to the best they could
be toward you, which is all or just
